We are so very excited to hold this gathering to bring community together for Summer Solstice.

You also have the added option to camp, bring a van or hire a bell tent or shepherds hut with hot tub. Absolutely brilliant eh!!!

This gathering will be held in the stunning area of Gawsworth, Macclesfield because there is something really special about this land and area. You can just sense it – it is a magical energy about the place plus there is druid stone circle right nearby.

This evening we will gather in circle to form community and to honour the sun and the longest day of the year with the elements of Grandfather Fire, Mother Earth, Air and Water.

This event means so much to us and we really want to bring you a collective of beautiful, down to earth, raw & real facilitators with a wealth of experience.

So here it is –

You can arrive at the campsite from 2pm as there will be host of stalls and chill out time and other things. But you cannot enter the ceremonial area until 4pm.

Our offerings start at 4pm.

Fire & Plant Medicine Ceremony to honour the sun and connect to sacred plant medicine Cacao with respect and to honour the sun, spirit, plant medicine, each other, the elements and of course you, yourself – held by Greta & Paul Makinson from Wallah Kirtan, Leeds.

Shamanic Trance Dance with Greta where you can let rip, let go and let it all out. Everything you need to release, to see, to connect with, to be.

Bringing the evening to a pinnacle we are so delighted to have with us Wallah Kirtan bringing in beautiful mantras and taking us into the sunset.

We then get ready to watch the sun go down to the healing sounds & soul tranmissions of the gorgeous & talented Jazzalina Garcia, Macclesfield.

You are then free to chill, watch the sunset and just be.

Those who are not camping have to leave the campsite by 9.45pm.

BUCK FULL MOON GATHERING

We have created our Full Moon Gatherings throughout the year to help build community, provide a safe space to share, connect to nature and the elements and of course the energy of the moon and plant medicine Cacao.

What better way to start a Sunday by joining us out on the land at this magical space out in nature by a fire to honour the Moon energy and ourselves. The Buck Moon was named by Native American tribes in relation to the antlers of buck (the male deer). This moon takes place at 10.17am this day and is all about action and achievement but also rest and making sure we are not over doing it. This moon s also known as the Wyrt Moon and is all about garden magik and herbal teas and remedies.

The purpose of this gathering is to bring like minded souls together to form a safe space to help build community and connection.

We hold circle around Grandfather fire out in nature and bring in the beautiful spirit of plant medicine Mama Cacao to work within us.

The emphasis on this event is CHILL – this is going to be a relaxed, chilled out event where you just turn up wearing what you want, wellies and blankets an all and let go.

Each month the moon mirrors our cycle of life, death and being reborn. At our gathering we take on the aspects of our beautiful moon and release anything which is no longer serving and prepare for the next phase of our journey.

We come together to harness collective positive energy through working with the energy of the Buck moon and will focus this gathering around herbs and how they help us.

Herbs – which ones do we like and why – please bring one with you – can be dried, fresh or oil form or as you wish.

BEGINNERS SHAMANIC JOURNEYING WORKSHOP

This one day workshop will show you how to use traditional ancestral techniques to enter a state of consciousness where you journey to connect with your spirit helpers.

We will explore the shamanic journey – what are the different shamanic realms, how and why we work with our allies and power animals and how to connect with them.

This workshop will connect with scared plant medicine and invite Mama Cacao for her support and guidance in our journeying.
We will also cover safe travelling by grounding, respecting and protecting ourselves along with guidance on working in the spiritual realms and spiritual cleansing.

You will also be introduced to the drum and rattle as shamanic tools. We will be working out in nature with the elements so best wear suitable clothes.

Lunch will be included which will be salad & bread I encourage people to bring some food to offer to the table as way of sharing and giving. Coffee and tea will be provided throughout the day.

I am a trained shamanic practitioner, reiki master and meditation teacher. My love and connection to the spirit of the elements, plants, and the land has led me to the shamanic path.

We all need some time away – a time to escape from the hustle and bustle of life and find some peace and calm. I feel our nervous system is overloaded by the way we live our life now and it and us, at times need a rest from social media, pressures & responsibilities of work, family, being perfect and simply just life itself.

We need to, on occasions, for our own self care get away from it all and simply be.

2,500 years ago the Buddha went out into nature to meditate under the Boddhi tree to gain enlightmenment. Indigenous cultures sit in circle and connect to the elements and drum to access spirit and altered realities – so I guess what im saying it is part of our makeup to connect to the elements to find a sense of peace because we are made up of them. In a way we are just coming home to all that is, to meet thy self.

This retreat has been planned with the intention to offer a beautiful space out in nature with such an incredible energy. .You even have the option to make a weekend of it and camp or bring a van or stay in a lovely shepherds hut.

This meditation retreat will be an intimate gathering where numbers will be limited. Our emphasis will be solely on meditation and being present, honouring the space, ourselves and each other. This would suit beginner level or those more advanced as the focus will be to try and stay in the present moment.

What could be better than gathering around the fire honouring the Moon drinking Cacao out in nature.

Pink oh my days, what a colour – this is our second Full Moon gathering of the year to mark the phase of our wonderful Moon which brings us such joy and wonder and orbits us without order.

We have set up these lovely chilled out events throughout the year to mark the Full Moon and one of its main purposes is to help build community and connection.

Pink Moon is named actually after the flowers of spring as we move into brighter days and the flowers raise their heads. We will be witness to the season and to nature and the elements as we connect to plant medicine Mama Cacao, share, drum, meditate, laugh, have fun and be.

If there is one word to sum up our Winter Solstice it is MAGICAL.

The evening included offerings to Grandfather fire, a fire and cacao ceremony, drum circle, oracle cards, little talk about Winter Solstice, meditation, trance dance, pagan pass the yule parcel, sharing circle and munching on delicious yule log and sipping relaxing herbal tea.

Magical Fire Ceremony

Fire has been used by our ancestors for thousands of years as a way to surrender what is no longer serving us and releasing this to the fire . Here we let go of this and hand it to grandfather fire, spirit, energy to deal with to bring healing at deep soul level.

As part of the shamanic path we open circle with drumming around the fire to harness the energy and truly connect with the elements, four directions, spirit and ourselves.

We will also connect through dance in trance and then share by the fire and drink warm herbal tea and Grant to lead his famous Pass the Pagan Parcel.

Come join us – Greta and Grant for this Super Magical Summer Solstice Gathering in the woods of outstanding natural beauty of Tinkers Clough, Bollington. One of our favourite places in the world.

We are so excited to be holding this very special solstice event to honour life force energy, the Sun, and to mark the longest day of the year and to harness positive energy for the planet.

We will gather in circle to hold sacred ceremony in the wonderful woodland of Tinkers Clough and end the evening watching the spectacular sunset on White Nancy or just below if you dont want to travel to the top.

Opening space with a drum circle and little talk about Summer Solstice then honouring mother earth and her healing by conncecting to plant medicine Cacao and setting intention for our lives. We then, totally hippy style do some tree hugging (optional) and then move into dance where we allow the magic of Cacao to help release what needs to let go and to help us meet our intention.

There will also be a sharing circle and end with a meditation before we head for the sunset on beautiful White Nancy or just below for those who dont want to go to the top.

We highly promote shamanic and other drumming as it has been found to help with anxiety, stress and depression and addiction by changing the brain waves and working with our nervous system.

Cacao is a sacred medicine and healing plant which also helps with depression and anxiety – those with heart issues and bleeding disorders and on other medicines and have other conditons or illnesses should seek advice before taking her.

Calling all those who want to break free from the chains that bind. Whether your into shamanism, wicca, buddhism, metaphysics, any spirituality and even if your not and whether your a teenager, grandparent, Mum, Dad, whoever you are, whatever you believe please join me in community.

This once a month drum circle has been created to bring like-minded folks together in a safe space.

This is not about trying to entertain, perform or put on a show. It is about us all coming together to share sacred space, to drop our egos at the door, feel free, bang our drums with all our hearts, connect to our souls, journey to different spaces, calm our mind, drink tea together and share our vulnerability, honesty, experiences and feelings.

Sessions will include drumming, meditation, sharing, some trance dance if felt, card pulling and whatever else floats the boat.

Face to face community has been missing due to lock down and is an essential part of practising spirituality and to keep our BEING well. Therefore, I am calling upon those out there to come together for fun, rhythm and connection.

A lack of community takes its toll on the soul and can trigger addiction, worsen addiction, mental health issues, grief and escalate to loneliness.

Drumming takes us on a journey. Meditation takes us on a journey. The sharing circle takes us on a journey. Connection takes us on a journey. Let the journey begin. I cant do it alone. I need you. To book click this link
