Meditation is not about stopping thinking. It is about coming home to oneself, to the breath, your life and the people in it, becoming present to all that is. Being present is a practice. It is a practice. A new way of living and being. When we think how much time we spend on training our body yet we rarely think about time spent on training our mind. Meditation can be practised through sitting or even walking as we can see in the photo opposite at one of our events.
If your feeling anxious, isolated, alone, stressed, suffering with grief or depression or simply just want more calmness and peace then meditation is a gift that once you understand it it costs nothing apart from input of your time. It is also really helpful with neurodivergence- its certainly helped Greta in that area who has been diagnosed with ADHD. She has been meditating for more than 13 years and said she functions in so many areas through mindfulness training.
Greta offers an 8 week mindfulness course one to one online or face to face at the farm in Gawsworth.
Online block of 8 week sessions – 1 hour session per week is £280.
Face to face block of 6 week 1.5 hr sessions at the farm in Gawsworth is £480.

Take time out from the madness of the world and come join us for some inner peace, grounding, connection, stillness and calm.
Please join us for this lovely peaceful morning meditation retreat at the stunning location of St James Church Hall in Gawsworth. This retreat has been created to help gain a greater sense of peace, clarity and calmness in these troubled times. This retreat is open to all levels and is great for those wanting to learn or understand more about meditation.
It will include a talk about meditation – what it is and isnt and how we can use meditation as a tool to transform our mind and our life and bring us to the present moment and all that is. It aims to bring stillness and a sense of being more grounded, aligned, connected and peaceful.
Meditation has been found to help with stress, anxiety, pain, those with neurodivergence including adhd, autism etc, addiction, loss, grief, trauma, spiritual unrest and much more. It certainly changed my world for the better after living a mindful practice every day for 13 years.
