What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient form of ‘hands on’ healing, thought to be thousands of years old. It is believed to have originated as a Tibetan Buddhist practice, rediscovered in the 1800’s. The word Reiki is derived from two Japanese words – ‘rei’ meaning universal spirit and ‘ki’ meaning life force energy. It is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. As a Reiki Master and Teacher I provide Reiki attunement workshops at levels I, II and III.

How does Reiki work?
This gentle treatment is given over clothing and involves hands being placed in a sequence of non-invasive positions to cover the whole body. Reiki energy is drawn through the therapist and works by dissolving or eliminating toxic energy and substances from many levels whether physical, emotional, mental or spiritual. Usually given lying down but may by be performed sitting and may be given just over a problem area.

Reiki healing session will be held at High Lane Farm, Gawsworth, Macclesfield in a stunning, cute little caravan with beautiful views of the countryside all around. Chill out and relax after the session with a nice cup of tea in this beautiful space after let the world pass you by.

Sessions can also be held at the wonderful Light of Hope Centre in Sale, Trafford to cover Manchester and surrounding areas.
Distant healing or online sessions are also available for those who cant get to have a session in person. .

On your level 2 course, you will receive empowerments which will further connect you to the Reiki energy. we will look at freeing up your reiki practice and working intuitively. You will be attuned to the sacred symbols, and learn how to embody their energies. You will also be introduced to the concept of oneness and distance healing. Upon completion you may set up as a reiki practitioner if you wish.

You will receive master level attunements, empowerments and meditations to work with.
We will also explore the advanced Reiki techniques, sacred chants and further teachings of Usui.
On completion of the course, you will be able to teach others, if you so wish.
