Recent research also shows adolescents with an addiction to the internet undergo changes in the brain that could lead to other addictions.
All habits change our brain chemicals flooding the neural pathways with massive surges of neurotransmitter, dopamine – which makes us want more.
Many come into recovery, pressured by loved ones to change who cant understand that they have no willpower and cant give it up.
Addiction is nothing to do with willpower. Recovery is also not about willpower. It is the deepest, most profound, simple, yet complicated, incredible and life changing journey one could ever embark on. For Greta she actually now sees it as the biggest gift she could have ever received whilst she is on this planet.
You can tell people about recovery but no one can truly get it till they start to witness the miracles themselves.

Addiction often leaves us empty, affecting the body, mind and spirit. We can feel disconnectd from life, people and things which is why here at elf we understand the importance of space for personal exploration, reflection, meditation and mindfulness and connecting with the earth, fire, water, wind, animals and yourself.

At Elf we offer a bespoke spiritual and holistic healing package created uniquely for you depending on where you are on your recovery journey.
Recommended minimum package 20 HOURS – £1350
If sought and required longer packages can be tailormade for you
Sessions can either be taken on intensive basis such as 20 hours a week or 2 hours once a week for 10 weeks and is dependent on each individual clients needs..
This is the suggested minimum number of hours to start or renew a recovery journey. Suggested hours could be less if it is revitalising a recovery journey. Please do not let money be a reason for not doing this. Contact Greta directly if this is the case.
It will incorporate 12 step recovery principle, shamanic practices, reiki, meditation, connecting to animals, shamanic counselling and sacred ceremony. It could also include inner child work, creative workshops, dance and sound healing. In between each session recovery work with be set to be worked on for the next session.
After an initial discussion with the client a healing package will be created uniquely for you. It willl be dependent on your needs and if required sessions with an addiction counsellor, yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, mens circle, womens circle, recovery meeting could be also be added to the package at extra cost.
.There is also a shepherds hut on site at the farm if you wish to create an individual retreat. This is a stunning space to help ground you and connect with the earth and heal. It boasts its own kitchen and shower and hot tub and is a get a way from it all.
This is not a detox space and we suggest cilents dependant on substances detox before coming to elf.
