Come join us and immerse yourself into nature – we will breathe in the lush woodland air, hug trees, make mandalas , meditate with water etc
Tinkers Clough, Bollington
Please join us out in the incredibly beautiful space of Tinkers Clough, Bollington, to connect deeply with nature with child like curiosity and openness.
We have some weird and wonderful nature based activities lined up so immerse us into the healing of the wood and out of our heads and away from the hectic world.
We will connect deeply with trees and the elements and ourselves and each other, create a mandala from nature, meditate, share and much more.
The woods helps calm our nervous system and mind, reduces heart rate and blood pressure, lowers stress hormones and boots our natural cells to strengthen our immune system. Nature brings us to the present moment of consciousness where we get to be present to the natural world around us.
Sharing and connecting with trees and humans helps support us and lets us know we are not alone and it grounds us too. The green strengthens us in a gentle way where we live more alert, more calm and peaceful than when we entered.
This workshop is ran by two experienced healers and workshop facilitators Gill Black and Greta Sherratt.
We will have mugwort tea on offer and energy balls. Mugwort tea has been used for centuries for dream work, meditation, and bedtime rituals.
MUGWORT SAFETY AND CONTRAINDICATIONS

Come and explore a gathering of like-minded people in a supported recovery circle. Partly rooted in Native American First Nations sobriety circles from the 1750’s and the principles of being led by wounded healers, we’ll be bringing ancient wisdom in to our modern world, as well as our own experience. .
An opportunity for anyone struggling with addiction who wants to get well or for those who are already sober or in recovery. Also for those wishing to support others. You’ll be stepping back into the wilds of an 18 acre private woodland and healing retreat space
Discover communal “tribe”, community, recovery, losing habits that no longer serve us using ancient ways and sacred ceremony, incorporating ancient teachings from indigenous tribes who were holding recovery circles from the 1750’s way before psychologists and other movements took root. Drumming, trance dance, Gaia tree healing, coping strategies, sacred crafting, food around the fire, taking personal responsibility, recovery principles, sacred pipe ceremony, disconnect from technology and reconnect to the real world.
